VIPEREOS MORES NON VIOLABO
Founded in Milan in 1883 by Lorenzo Usellini, Satinine was born as a refined house of perfume and toilette creations. After the First World War the company evolved into a true olfactory workshop, giving life to fragrances that became icons of their time: Orchidea Nera, a bold and exotic floral creation, and Caccia alla Volpe, a perfume with an unmistakable character and international recognition.
Lorenzo Usellini founds Satinine.
Lorenzo builds a palazzo in Milan to serve as a workshop, shop, and residence for himself and his children at Via Broggi 23.
Lorenzo and his son Carlo Antonio, a brilliant chemist, create iconic fragrances such as Orchidea Nera and Caccia alla Volpe.
The Satinine factory is temporarily moved to the Usellini family home on Lake Maggiore in Arona.
The third generation of the Usellini family, led by Mario and Silvio, joins the company.
Sophia Loren becomes the face of Orchidea Nera following the release of the film of the same name.
Satinine focuses on producing licensed perfumes, collaborating with major brands such as Borsalino, Ferrari, and AC Milan.
Satinine Milano 1883, now owned by Profumieri Milano srl, reopens the historic perfumery in Milan, relocated to Piazza Duomo.
